Ephimera and the forgotten memories

About the game:

Ephimera is a non-linear rogue-lite game. You will have four towers to complete and you can complete them in any order you want. It has a safe system which allows you to stop a run in order to return to the hub with "souls" for you to improve your abilities. If you die you will only return with the 50% of them.

Description:

Join Ephimera on her exciting journey as a witch in an unknown dimension. Become a powerful sorceress as you challenge the mysterious towers full of dangers and monsters. Use your magical skills to face increasingly difficult challenges and unlock new spells along the way - but beware! Every decision counts, as you'll have to choose wisely which spells to take with you to the next tower.

Game Mechanics:

Procedurally generated map: Each time you play, the map of the challenge towers is procedurally generated, meaning that each match is unique and offers a fresh and exciting experience.

Rogue-Lite Style: The game features Rogue-Lite elements, which means that death is permanent and every game is a new challenge. Players must learn from their mistakes, improve their skills and progress through the towers to get further on their journey.

Extraction touches: Players can extract one of the spells learned in one tower to carry it to the next, allowing them to customize their magic arsenal and adapt to the changing challenges of each tower. Making strategic decisions about which spells to take with them is crucial to progressing through the game.

Persistent Progression: Although the game is Rogue-Lite, it offers some persistent progression through the mining of learned spells and the ability to upgrade skills and resources throughout the game. This allows players to feel like they are advancing and improving, even after facing difficult challenges.
